Transfer Miles

 

With Transfer Miles, you can share the miles you've earned in the SkyMiles program with family and friends. For a fee, plus applicable taxes, transfer your miles and help those close to you earn Award Travel faster. To Transfer Miles, you must provide the recipient's SkyMiles number. Once you have completed the transaction, the miles will instantly post to the recipient's SkyMiles account for the majority of transactions although please allow up to 24 hours for the miles to post. In addition to sending you a confirmation email, Delta will also send your recipient an email on your behalf if you provide the recipient's email address.

It's also important to note:

• Transfer Miles are applicable for all SkyMiles awards
• Transfer Miles are available only on delta.com
• Miles transferred through the Transfer Miles program are non-refundable
• All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars
• All the terms and conditions of the SkyMiles program apply

Transfer Miles is easy. The standard transaction terms include:

Transaction Terms:

• Minimum/Maximum mileage per transaction, per recipient: 1,000 / 30,000
• Mileage increments: 1,000
• Rate per mile: $0.01
• Processing Fee per transaction: $30.00

• One to four SkyMiles recipients may be included in a single transaction

Yearly Maximums:

• Maximum mileage transferred from a SkyMiles account per year: 150,000
• Maximum mileage deposited to a SkyMiles account per year: 300,000
